Printing Your TurboTax PDF File

TurboTax Online Basic, Deluxe, Premier, and Home & Business automatically save your tax return as a PDF file if you paid the Online fee. More info

TurboTax CD/Download software gives you the option to save your return as a PDF file in addition to the tax data file.

Below are printing instructions for Adobe Reader X 10.1.2; screenshots from other versions may differ somewhat.

Instructions

To print your entire return:

Open the PDF file.
From the File menu, choose Print (or simply click the printer icon). Both are located in the upper left corner.
Make any adjustments in the Print window, such as the number of copies to print, and then click the Print button at the bottom.

To print a specific page or page range, enter the desired page(s) in the Pages to Print area of the Print window.

Nothing prints or the file saves instead of prints

Click the Advanced button near the top of the Print window and then clear the Print to File checkbox. Click OK, and then try printing again.
