Some customers have reported garbled or "junk" characters when printing a PDF copy of their return created in Adobe Reader. Here are some workarounds:
- Option #1: Download and install an earlier version of Adobe Reader.
- Note: The printing issue is reported by some customers using Adobe Reader X.
- Option #2: Switch your browser to Firefox.
- Note: The printing issue is reported by some customers using Internet Explorer.
- Option #3: Keep the PDF-viewing window open until your return has finished printing.
- You may not be able do anything else in TurboTax Online for several minutes while your whole return prints.
- Option #4: While viewing your PDF, click the print button or select File > Print.
- When the Windows Print dialog appears, click the Advanced button.
- Now click the Print as image checkbox.
- Click OK then click OK again to print normally.
- Note: If you choose this option, printing may take a bit longer.
