Printing Your Tax Return in TurboTax Online
If you haven't already paid your TurboTax Online prep fees, you'll be prompted for payment when you go to print your return.
Once you've paid the fee, you are free to print your return an unlimited number of times. You can even switch to e-filing for no additional charge.

Print Your 2011 Return to File by Mail
- Sign in to TurboTax Online, if you aren't already signed in.
- In TurboTax Online, select the Print & File tab.
Not seeing this tab? You won't find it on this screen. Make sure you're looking in TurboTax Online, which should be running in a separate window or tab.
- Select Continue and proceed to the Get Ready to E-File Your Returns screen.
- Select the File by Mail button.
- On the following screen, select the desired returns (federal and/or state) you want to print for filing.
- Continue following the on-screen instructions to completion. TurboTax will print all official tax forms required to file your return, along with your filing instructions.
About the "You Need to Mail These Forms to the Government" screen
You'll see this screen if you e-filed and your tax situation requires you to print and mail certain forms to the government, for example Form 1040-V, Payment Voucher.
- If you choose View/Print, a PDF file will open, which includes any additional forms that need to be printed and mailed. Filing instructions will not print.
- If you choose Save, you’ll be able to save these forms to your computer for future printing.
