Payment Error - We're Having Trouble Processing your Request

You may see this error message when attempting to purchase a product or service through TurboTax.

Explanation

Although this message usually occurs if there is a problem with our payment system or your payment, it can also occur for other, unknown reasons.

Try these steps to help resolve your issue:

  1. Reset all Internet Explorer security settings to default. In Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet Options, and then click the Security tab. Click Reset all zones to default level.
  2. Turn on your cookies
  3. Turn off Proxy settings
  4. If you are using a wireless connection, try connecting directly with a hard wire connection
  5. Shut down any other open browser windows and try again
  6. Make sure you are connected to the internet
