Can I get a refund of the e-filing fee if my TurboTax Online return is rejected?

No, because we don't charge an e-filing fee in TurboTax Online.

When you pay for TurboTax Online, you're charged a prep fee (tax preparation service fee). The prep fee applies whether you e-file your return or print and mail it in.

If your tax return is rejected, click here for additional instructions.

Should your return continue to be rejected, you'll need to print and mail your tax return instead.
