Workaround:Utah Form TC-40a Subtracting From Income Amount

Some TurboTax users are experiencing an error, "...amount has to be greater than 0" when filing a TC-40A. This occurs while processing a UT NR return with Schedule C losses, where the amount cannot be adjusted on the UT return. (The amount flows from 1040 line 12 and UT does not allow an adjustment.)

WORKAROUND

If a return contains this error it is recommended that the return be printed and mailed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
