Workaround:Canada Is Not Available As A Location Alimony payments Are Sent To On Form 80-105

Some TurboTax users are experiencing an issue when entering a State that Alimony payments are sent to, on Form 80-105. Canada isn't listing as an option in the drop down menu.

Workaround

After evaluating the issue we have determined this does not affect the calculation of the return. We will be making changes to next year's product to have Canada as an option. As a workaround for this year the state retun may be printed out and mailed. Once the return is printed CAN may be manually entered on the return. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience in this matter.
