Resolved:Form 8910 - Energy-efficient vehicle box 53c of 1040 Issue

Article ID: SLN68510

If the "Energy-Efficient Vehicles" area of the interview was started and then exited due to the vehicle not meeting the qualifications for this credit.

The box on Line 53c of Form 1040 was incorrectly remaining checked to indicate Form 8910 should be included in the return.

This did not affect any calculation of the return but would result in the following IRS rejection message when e-filing.

"If Form 1040, Line 53c checkbox 'Specific Other Credits Ind' is checked and Line 53c credit Forms Statement 8910' has the value "8910", then Form 8910 must be present in the return."

Workaround:

Removing the following forms from the return may resolve this issue
