Iowa E-File Rejection due to Incorrect County Number and School District Number

Some customers are experiencing the following Iowa E-File Rejection:

"Your return could not be processed for e-filing due to incorrect or missing information on Form 1040. Please review your return, make sure County Number, School District Number and Filing Status are entered and correct. If necessary, make the appropriate change and re-submit this return electronically. However, if the reject continues, you may want to file this return via U.S. Mail. To file your state return, print it and mail to the appropriate taxing authority." This error is prompted regardless of the fact that all efile information is correct.

Workaround

We are working through identifying a resolution to this issue. In order to file your return you must print your return and file by mail.
