Why can't I enter my Schedule C income in TurboTax Business?

TurboTax Business does not include the 1040 and Schedule C forms that sole proprietorships and most single-member LLCs need to file their tax returns.

Instead, TurboTax Business is intended for:

  • Form 1120S for subchapter S (S-Corp) returns;
  • Form 1120 for corporation (C-Corp) and single-owner LLC (filing as corporation) returns;
  • Form 1065 for partnership and multi-owner LLC returns; and
  • Form 1041 for fiduciary (estates and trusts) returns.

If you're looking for a TurboTax product that will handle your Schedule C, we recommend TurboTax Home and Business to find the business write-offs, industry-specific deductions, and correct depreciation methods that will maximize your refund.
