Minnesota 2010: Certain customers may not have received Property Tax Refund for Renters

The TurboTax interview may not have allowed customers to enter the information for the Minnesota Form M1PR (Property Tax Refund) in order to file that form.
This issue was fixed on March 5, 2011.
How to tell if you are impacted by this issue
You are affected by this issue if ALL of the following are true:
- You filed your 2010 Minnesota tax return prior to March 5, 2011; and
- You paid rent on a home that exceeded $811 per month in 2010; and
- Your 2010 total household income (taxable plus nontaxable income) is between $53,030 and $53,541; and
- You have not filed a 2010 Minnesota Form M1PR.
If you are affected by this issue and wish to receive your 2010 property tax refund, you'll need to prepare and mail Minnesota Form M1PR by August 15, 2011. Be sure to include your Certificate(s) of Rent Paid for 2010.
