You cannot deduct premiums for life insurance, disability income, accident, automobile medical payments, coverage for a specified disease or illness (like cancer insurance), workers comp, policies for loss of life, limb, or sight, nor supplemental insurance paying a guaranteed amount each week for a stated number of weeks if you are hospitalized, ill or injured.
