Can I deduct medical premiums taken out of my PSO pension?

Insurance premiums paid directly from a Public Safety Officer's retirement plan that are excluded from your taxable pension income are not deductible as a medical expense. Any premium you paid that doesn't reduce your taxable pension is allowed as a medical deduction.
