How do I update the info in "My Account", such as my e-mail or billing address?
Very easily! Simply click My Account in the upper right corner of any page on the turbotax.com site, including this one.
Then, on the My Account screen (pictured below) go down to the Account Settings section and choose the setting you want to update.
Log in with your User ID and Password, and then make your changes. Don't forget to scroll down and click the Save Changes button before signing out.
How do I create an account?
When you engage in transactions that require an online account (such as unlocking your software or saving your TurboTax Online tax return) you will be prompted to create an account.

What if I lost my login information and my e-mail address has changed?
If you have tried logging into your account with no success and you no longer use the e-mail address when you created your account, you must submit an Email Change Request. Be ready to provide the following:
- Your User ID
- Old e-mail address
- New e-mail address
- Mailing address
- Daytime phone number
- One of the following via cell phone camera or digital scan:
- Driver's License
- State Issued ID with address
- Notarized document with your name and address.
You will receive an e-mail verification when the e-mail address associated with your TurboTax Online account has been changed. (If you do not receive the e-mail within 24 hours, please contact us.)
