Registering Your TurboTax Software
If you purchased TurboTax directly from Intuit, your software is already registered.
If you purchased your software from a retailer, TurboTax will prompt you to register whenever you open TurboTax.
Although you're not required to register your TurboTax software, registering ensures you get all the latest product news and information, including tax law updates and product enhancements. It also activates your warranty. But if you do not want to register, just select Continue whenever prompted.
The personal information you provide will be used to register your software. We will not rent, sell or share your personal information with anyone outside of Intuit for their marketing use. When you register, you can specify your contact preferences at the bottom of the registration screen.
