TurboTax 2011 Installer Crashes with an "Unrecoverable Error"

While installing TurboTax 2011, it crashes with the message "TurboTax installation has encountered an unrecoverable error."

This issue may be caused by damaged or missing fonts.

To resolve this issue, follow the instructions for your Windows operating system.

Windows 7

Windows 7 lets you restore folders to a previous version, allowing you to restore damaged or missing fonts.
