Customers have reported issues with launching or opening tax files with TurboTax 2010 and earlier on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.

Workarounds

TurboTax 2010 and earlier versions are not supported by Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.

An OS update may solve this issue. Mac OS X checks weekly for software updates automatically, or you can click here to make sure your version of Lion is up-to-date.
If your system is up-to-date, try deleting your Preferences list. Then, reinstall TurboTax.
