Error 18793820550 is caused by an error in the registry. Please take the following steps to resolve it:

Solution

Select the Start menu.
- For Windows XP, select Run
- For Windows Vista/7, please use the Search programs and files entry box.
Type in regedit and press Enter.
When the registry editor comes up, navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Intuit > TurboTax 20XX directory.
Right-click the RecentFileList folder and choose Delete, then click Yes when prompted.
Close the registry editor and try re-launching TurboTax.
