Georgia 2010: 1099-R Railroad Retirement Benefits

Certain customers, who received 1099-R Railroad Retirement Benefits that were taxable on their Federal Form 1040, may have filed an incorrect Georgia tax return.
TurboTax has fixed this issue.
How to tell if you are impacted:
You may be affected if ALL of the following are true:
- You filed a 2010 Georgia tax return prior to May 26, 2011 AND
- You received Railroad Retirement Benefits AND
- Your Railroad Retirement Benefits were taxable on your Federal Return Form 1040, Line 16b AND
- You have no amount listed on Line 7 of your Georgia Schedule 1, Adjustments to Income
If you are affected, you may have overpaid your state tax. You will need to amend your state tax return.
