Trouble Signing In to My TurboTax Account

Follow these directions to regain access to your TurboTax account.

  1. Go to My TurboTax by clicking the link in the upper right corner at TurboTax.com.
  2. Click Having trouble signing in?

  3. In the new window, click I forgot my user ID and/or password and cannot access my e-mail.
    • Do this even if you CAN access your e-mail.

  4. On the next screen, fill in all four fields, and then click Continue. Tips:
    • Enter the Social Security number of the first person listed on your return.
    • The ZIP Code field only requires 5 digits.

  5. Answer your Security Question
  6. Update your account information and you're done!
