E-file your 2012 tax extension with TurboTax Easy Extension

TurboTax Easy Extension is no longer available for tax year 2012 returns.

If you're out of the country and need to file your extension before the June 17, 2013 deadline, click here for alternate ways to file.

If you used Easy Extension to e-file your 2012 extension, here's how you can print a copy of your Form 4868:

1. Sign in to My TurboTax.
2. After signing in, click the Tax Returns icon at the bottom.
3. In the 2012 folder, click the Get copy of return link. This will open the Home page; click the File an extension link on that screen.
4. Click Continue in the TurboTax Easy Extension popup window.
5. Click Print your extension (Form 4868) at the bottom of the screen.
