Why can't I e-file more than 5 returns?

Due to IRS regulations, you can only e-file five (5) Federal returns with any one TurboTax product. However, you can prepare as many returns as you like to be filed by mail. If you are a tax preparer and need to e-file more than five returns, we offer our ProSeries and Lacerte line of software.
