When attempting to e-file your tax return, you receive the message:

Your Transmission Didn't Go Through

We could not e-file your return for the following reason:

Intuit's Electronic Filing Center is temporarily unavailable due to maintenance. Please try again later.

Explanation

Normally, you'll only get this message late at night or during the wee hours of the morning, when we perform routine maintenance.

However, this message can appear at any time if we're fixing something on our end. In either case, please save your work and come back in a little while to try again.
