Enter Estimated Tax Payments in TurboTax Business
Enter your estimated tax payments for:
You can access the estimated taxes section via the interview. Open your corporation return in TurboTax Business, and then:
- Click Federal Taxes in the gray bar near the top of your screen.
- In the gray bar below that, make sure Other is selected. This will put you on the Other Information screen.
- Click through the screens until you reach the Tax Payments screen.
- Select the 2012 Estimated Tax Payments checkbox, click Continue, and follow the on-screen instructions.
You can enter estimated tax payments in Forms mode.
- In the upper right corner of your screen, click the Forms button.
- In the right pane, click the tab labeled Information Wks.
- Scroll down to Part IV of the worksheet. Enter the payment information in the Actual Payment Date and Amount Paid columns.
- When finished, you can return to the interview by clicking Step by Step in the upper right corner of your screen.
If you are one of the rare S-Corporations that owes income tax, you can access the estimated taxes section via the Forms button:
- In the upper right corner of your screen, click the Forms button.
- In the left pane, click the tab labeled Information Wks.
- Scroll down to Part III of the worksheet. Enter the payment information in the Date Paid and Amount Paid columns.
- When finished, you can return to the interview by clicking Step by Step in the upper right corner of your screen.
Partnerships do not pay taxes. All income, expenses, and credits are passed through to the partners and taxes are paid by the partners based on their income, deductions and credits from all sources. If partners need to make estimated payments, they would use form 1040-ES.

You can access the estimated taxes section via the interview. Open your fiduciary return in TurboTax Business, and then:
- Click Federal Taxes in the gray bar near the top of your screen.
- In the gray bar below that, make sure Other is selected. This will put you on the Other Taxes screen.
- Proceed through the screens until you reach the Tax Payments screen.
- Select the 2012 Estimated Tax Payments checkbox, click Continue, and follow the on-screen instructions.
You can enter estimated tax payments in Forms mode.
- In the upper right corner of your screen, click the Forms button.
- In the left pane, click on Information Wks.
- Scroll down to Part III of the worksheet. Click on the QuickZoom box.
- Enter the payment information in the Actual Date Paid and Amount Paid columns.
- When finished, you can return to the interview by clicking Step by Step in the upper right corner of your screen.
