Some customers have experienced the following Federal E-File Rejection:

Code F-1040-076
Form 1040, Line 6c, for each dependent provided, if Line 6c column 4 checkbox is checked, then that dependent's age must be under 17.

Workaround

We have reviewed this reason for rejection and have confirmed that TurboTax is handling information on Form 1040 correctly. If you are receiving this rejection, please verify your dependent's information and re-file, if you continue to be rejected, you must file by mail.
