I received a refund for an education expense I claimed

Article ID: IAS10108
If you claim an education credit on a filed return, and later receive a refund of some of the tuition you paid or some tax-free education assistance, some of this credit may need to be repaid. Refigure your credit for the filed tax year as if the assistance or refund was received then. Next, refigure your tax liability using the revised education credit. The increase (recapture) is added to your tax liability for the year of receipt.
