Are the cost of books, room, and board for college deductible?

Generally, tuition and books are deductible. Classroom-related purchases are also usually deductible. That's some good news. However, things like room and board, parking, and student health fees, are typically not deductible. We'll be sure to figure this all out for you by asking you the right questions.
