TurboTax State doesn't appear in return after downloading

If your TurboTax State product seemed to download without a hitch, but it's missing when you open your return, try clicking the State Taxes tab.

If you downloaded your state through TurboTax

When you obtain your State program through TurboTax, the download and installation happen at the same time. You don't need to install the download separately, like you do for a typical program.

If you don't see your state on the State Taxes tab, try updating TurboTax and then download/install your state again. To do so, click the Online menu (Windows) or the TurboTax menu (Mac) and choose Download State.

If you purchased your state from TurboTax.com

Unlike obtaining your state through TurboTax, obtaining it from the TurboTax website is the normal two-step process:

First you download your state program
Then you install the download
