If you receive the error message Fatal Error Loading File; Load Error 157 in SXXXXUS1040PER, this means your tax data file is damaged.

Note: The XXXX in this error represents the 4-digit tax year.

Workaround

If you backed up your tax return file, try opening your backup copy.

Otherwise, you'll need to create a new return in TurboTax, as there is no way for us to repair the damaged data file.
