Can I cancel a return I've already filed?

No, you can't cancel your return after you've filed it. Transmitting your return is like dropping it in the mailbox, except you can't open the mailbox or chase down the mail carrier. Once you click that Transmit Returns Now button, there is no way to stop the e-filing process or "recall" your tax return. If you need to correct your e-filed return, we can help you amend (change) your return and get it filed again.
