California 2010: 540 2-EZ With W-2 Wages from Different States

Certain customers, who had a W-2 with wages from different states in Box 16, may have filed an incorrect state tax return.
TurboTax has fixed this issue.
How to tell if you may be impacted
You may be affected if ALL of the following are true:
- You filed a 2010 540 2-EZ California state return prior to September 21, 2011; AND
- You have at least one W-2 and Box 16 has wages from different states; AND
- The total of those states wages is more than your W-2, Box 1.
If you are affected, you may have overpaid your state tax. You will need to amend your state tax return.
