Why can't I enter my Schedule C income or home office expenses in TurboTax Business?

TurboTax Business does not include the 1040 and Schedule C forms that home-based businesses, contractors, sole proprietors, and most single-member LLCs need to prepare and file their tax returns.
Instead, TurboTax Business is intended for:
- Form 1120S for subchapter S (S-Corp) returns;
- Form 1120 for corporation (C-Corp) and single-owner LLC (filing as corporation) returns;
- Form 1065 for partnership and multi-owner LLC returns; and
- Form 1041 for fiduciary (estates and trusts) returns.
If you need to file a Schedule C and/or enter your home office expenses, we recommend TurboTax Home and Business to find the business write-offs, industry-specific deductions, and correct depreciation methods that will maximize your refund.
