Federal 2011: Prior Year State and Local Income Tax Refund
Taxpayers who receive state and local income tax refunds may be required to report these amounts on their subsequent year’s tax returns.
Certain customers, who in the TurboTax interview, entered a negative number for their state and local refund amounts received in 2011, may have filed an incorrect tax return.
TurboTax has fixed this issue.
How to tell if you may be impacted
