No, the fiduciary of the trust or estate cannot pay the taxes on money that has been distributed.
The executor of the estate, or the trustee for the trust, makes distributions after paying all debts of the estate, including estate taxes.
If income from the estate has been distributed, the beneficiary is responsible for paying taxes on that income at his or her individual tax rate.
